The walk from Chowder Bay to Balmoral Beach is a beautiful trail in the suburb of Mosman on Sydney’s lower north shore, with stunning ocean and Harbour views to enjoy. This trail is the second part of the Taronga Zoo to Balmoral Beach walk, which also includes the section between Bradleys Head and Chowder Bay.

Definite chance of catching a flathead off Balmoral beach but minor detail - it is summer and Balmoral is pretty packed so wouldn't recommend it unless you want to upset a few people. You have a chance fishing off the wharf but on the left side is a bit of ribbon weed so you may get a few minor snags.Balmoral Beach is awesome. We love walking along the esplanade and there are (now) plenty of cafe and restaurant options. The views across to the Heads and harbour entrance are great. The beach does get busy but it's quite long and you can normally find a spot. The water is a lot calmer than some other beaches. Balmoral Beach to Taronga Zoo.
